## Vermont Minimum Wage
As of January 1, 2026, Vermont’s minimum wage is $14.42 per hour, adjusted annually for inflation. Tipped employees in hotels, motels, restaurants, and tourist establishments must receive a cash wage of at least $7.21 per hour, with tips bringing total pay to at least $14.42. The 2027 rate is expected around $14.91.
Last Paycheck
An employee who has been discharged from employment shall be paid within 72 hours of the discharge. An employee who voluntarily leaves employment shall be paid on the last regular payday, or if there is no regular payday, on the following Friday.
